At a cousin's place in Thanjavur town in South India, a couple of bovine visitors know that they can quench their thirst anytime. The vessel at the gate is replenished with care by the family.
Rolling stones may not gather moss, but they get nicely rounded.
They look so sweet and gentle - and I love the shape of their ears.

ReplyDeleteThese bovines are lucky to live in a country where they're treated so well.
ReplyDeleteOh these are cute.
ReplyDeleteOk, I don't think I've ever heard of bovines... when everyone stops laughing, would someone let me know? They appear to be a goat of some type.....sorry....
ReplyDeleteThanks, all
ReplyDeleteKelly, they are cows, and considered very sacred in India.
